To Report Spam:
1. Click on the Home button on the ribbon.
2. Click on the dropdown to the right of the red shield to report it as spam.
To Report Phishing:
Report phishing using "Phish Alert Report" button. If you don't see this button, make sure you are on the classic ribbon view by clicking the dropdown towards the top far right and selecting classic view.
If you are unsure whether or not an email is considered spam or phishing, follow these guidelines below:
Spam
- Definition: Spam refers to unsolicited and often irrelevant messages sent in bulk, typically for commercial purposes. These messages can flood your inbox with advertisements, promotions, or other non-malicious content.

Intent: The primary goal of spam is to promote products or services to a large audience with minimal effort and cost to the sender.
Phishing
- Definition: Phishing is a type of cyber-attack that involves fraudulent communications designed to trick recipients into revealing sensitive information, such as passwords, credit card numbers, or other personal data.

Intent: The main objective of phishing is to deceive and commit fraud by acquiring sensitive information or installing malware on the victim's system.
