Q. Will I get a notification from Ring Central
A. No, because we use single sign-on they will not send out a notification. NDN IT team will send out communications in regard to when porting is complete.
Q. Will there be any down time when the phone lines are porting over to Ring Central?
A. Each individual porting should only take a few minutes ideally and will only be done to lines not in use, if you are on a call, it will not be interrupted. When you hang up the line it will then be ported. Total time for all ports is projected to be about one hour.
Q. What features does Ring Central have?
A. Ring Central uses smart lines, these lines allow for not only calling but also eFax and texting services. You can have faxes sent directly to you phone number and they will show up in the Ring Central Teams app.
Q. Do I need to install anything on my laptop
A. No, the installation will be pushed out silently via teams and will be accessible in your Microsoft teams apps. There will be no need for you to install the application.
