Though we hope to soon resolve this problem at the root, you may see this error pop up on occasion when signing into a program using your Microsoft 365 credentials (Single Sign On). Normally you can click  "Done" or "OK" and move on with life uninterrupted.

If this message repeatedly pops up, we will need to clear your credentials on your computer. Keep scrolling and you'll see how!

How to Clear Credentials:

  1. To open Credential Manager, type credential manager in the search box on the taskbar and click Credential Manager.

  2. Select Windows Credentials and the screen should look similar to this:

  3. Now, look for any credentials that say SSO, Microsoft, 365, or refer to any MS product like Teams or OneDrive. We want to select each one of those Microsoft-related credentials, and then click Remove. Here are some examples of what we need to remove (you do not need to remove "virtualapp"):

Once these are all removed, reboot your computer which is always a good step, then try to launch your program(s) and sign back into them.
