Citrix - SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust "SecureTrust CA"

Unable to launch your application. Contact your help desk with the following information: Cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server. Network issues are preventing your connection. Please try again. If the problem persists, please call your help desk.

There are several possible fixes for this error, and similar ones:

  1. Clear your cache and cookies in your web browser (likely Google Chrome). Be sure to clear ALL browsing data, as the default option will only clear the most recent browsing data. Change "Last hour" to "All time" and then click Clear data. Then close out of all Chrome windows and reopen your browser to try signing onto Dignity again.

  2. Reboot your modem, wireless router, or wireless gateway. This is usually as simple as unplugging them and plugging them back in. Some people have just one device providing their Internet, others may have two devices physically connected to each other (a modem plus a router) which both should be rebooted.
    • If you are using the wireless network of a hospital or somewhere you cannot control the equipment, you can connect to Sonicwall VPN to route your traffic through a different network.

  3. Try a Citrix reset! It's similar to reinstalling but doesn't require administrator credentials, so no IT intervention required. ;)
    1. Find the Citrix bullseye icon in your "notification area" by the clock, and right-click on that icon. Choose Advanced Preferences.
    2. Click Reset Receiver.

    3. Click Yes, reset Receiver. Then go and try Citrix again!

  4. If at this point you still see the network error, submit an incident/break-fix ticket to the IT Help Desk by emailing helpdesk@nvdonor.org or by visiting the NDN Support Portal. Provide us with the 4-digit asset number from the bottom of your laptop, and we can remotely connect to reinstall Citrix Receiver or find another solution.
