This article will go over the On-Demand Call Recording through the Unite application. If you are part of a call center queue, your calls will be automatically recorded within that queue if you are using the Agents area of Unite. That area is accessed using the headset button () on the left side of the Unite application.


However, circumstances arise where you may have to dial out through the regular Unite dialing pad. Those calls by default are not recorded unless you manually trigger it with the steps below.


1) First, click the Calling button on the far-left side of the Unite window. 

2) Then, on the far-right side, click the dialer / keypad

3) Using the dialer that just opened, place your call.


4) Now that the call has begun, click the other keypad at the top of the screen (in the light blue bar near the mute button), and type or click #9.


5) A voice will announce the call is being recorded. You can pause and resume recording with #0, as needed. Once the call ends, you will receive an email like the following that contains an mp3 record of the call:
