This article will guide you through configuring your VPN client with a primary server, and optionally, a secondary or backup server.
- The first step should be the easiest: Launch Global VPN Client by finding it in your Start menu.
If you don't seem to have this program installed, please submit a break-fix/incident ticket by emailing [email protected] or using the NDN Support Portal.
- To configure a new VPN connection, click the blue + sign.
- Click through the wizard until you arrive at the below screen.
For the IP Address or Domain Name field, type in: mail.nvdonor.org
For Connection Name, you can type anything you like, but I'll type mail.nvdonor.org (Primary) since I'm setting up more than one connection.
Now, click Next > to continue.
- Then, click Finish at this screen. Optionally, you may create a desktop shortcut, or you can automatically connect to VPN when you launch the program.
- Here's what my VPN client looks like, so you can check your work. Click the Enable button when you want to connect, and then input the username and password you use to sign onto your computer.
Primary: mail.nvdonor.org (67.238.96.250)
Secondary (optional backup): 24.234.29.85
